Hope For Gus (EIN #27-2224833) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity.

We started The Hope For Gus Foundation in honor of our son Gus.  Gus has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the number one genetic killer of children in the world.  One in 3500 boys born each year are diagnosed with this disease.  Our goal is to find a cure so that Gus and the thousands of wonderful, intelligent, energetic, trusting, and loving boys who, like him, have been diagnosed with this awful disease, are able to fulfill their potential in this world and do great things.  In that way, hope for Gus is hope for all of us.

Our Mission

Our mission is to raise money for and awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. 

100% of our proceeds will be used to fund research that leads to a cure or effective treatments for boys afflicted with this disease. 

Additionally, we hope to raise public awareness through fund-raisers, family events and corporate sponsorship.
