| Anyone can hold a fundraising event for Hope for Gus. You may want to
organize a run or a walk where participants get financial sponsors, or you
can hold a rummage sale and the proceeds go to the foundation. Other
ideas are sponsoring a bake sale, a hike, or a dinner.
Fundraising events are great way for young people to earn community service
hours for school, or to just teach them the value of helping others.
Teens are very successful with car washes or running "fun fairs" for smaller
children. Of course, there is always the option of donating money outright, or
connecting us to a company, perhaps where you work, for corporate
sponsorship. Many large companies give away money to charities each
year and are always looking for new causes.
